Makes 1 12” pizza
For the sauce:
Make a roux by melting the butter in a saucepan. Add flour and mix well. Slowly drizzle whole milk while whisking the roux. Add the pecorino or parmigiano and cream cheese. Whisk well. Add the garlic powder. Season to taste. Simmer until thickened. Keep warm (easier to spread onto dough).
Assembling the pizza:
Spread cheese sauce onto stretched out pizza dough. Place sliced provolone on top of sauce. Place sliced meat and bell pepper on top of provolone. Sprinkle a small amount of shredded mozzarella.
Bake in your Cru oven.
