The Cru people were extremely helpful and patient with my many questions in helping me determine which oven was right for me and even after my purchase they again were very helpful. My oven appears to be of very high quality in terms of fit and finish. It was very easy to set up and it’s very easy to heat up and use. Based on the ability to maintain high and steady heat over an extended time period, I find the performance of this of oven exceptional. I do not consider the Cru Champion to be a small investment for an item I wanted but did not need. I find it to be worth every dollar I paid, and I’m extremely satisfied with the product.

My first three attempts were pizza, then steak, then a tomahawk ribeye. The pizza will take practice, but it was fun. The bread came out beautifully and the ribeye was the single juiciest piece of steak I’ve ever had. The Cru is versatile and is also a work of art on its own. The oven was thoughtfully packaged and shipped, easy as could be to set up and get going. Can not wait to do a whole snapper next!

After three years of searching for the perfect pizza oven my wife and I found Cru Ovens. My wife and I are both Portuguese so we were both intrigued by the fact that Cru Ovens are hand made in Portugal. After inquiring about the new Champion oven Ben was so helpful in sending us the specifications of the oven because the information was not yet available. Ben is so accommodating in answering all our questions and that sealed the deal for us. We received the oven and got right to work cooking pizza’s and Portuguese bread and I must say we were blown away at how the Champion performed. We were so impressed with it that we bought our daughter the Cru 32 as well. If your thinking of buying a pizza oven I can tell you this is the company you want to deal with. First off let me just say WOW! I’ve never owned a pizza oven before and wanted to try something new to maybe invest in something at a larger scale in the future. Let me tell you this oven DID NOT DISAPPOINT! It was easy as could be if you have watched any videos prior to owning one. I did have a little struggle with getting the fire first started but that was my fault. Once I got it going cooking was a breeze! My pizza’s came out perfect and delicious! I highly recommend this oven to anyone!
